ASL 115 The American Deaf Experience: Introduction to Deaf Studies

Introduction to American Deaf Culture and the Deaf community as a linguistic and cultural minority in the United States. Multidisciplinary examination of aspects of Deaf Culture including history, traditions, values, language, art, education, family and social and political interactions. Attendance to Deaf Community events may be required.
