ANTHRO 102 Cultural Anthropology

Introduction to the study of human societies from a cross-cultural perspective. Examination of culture and cultural change, communication and language, food-getting practices, economic systems, sex and gender, marriage, kinship, political organization, religion and art as well as an introduction to the history and theories of anthropological study.
