One of a sequence of two courses required for students majoring in biology and other natural sciences, as well as pre-medicine, pre-veterinarian, and other pre-professional programs. Focus on the study of the diversity of organisms through a review of comparative structure, physiology, development, and evolution. Topics include population genetics, classification, and interactions of populations at the species, community, and ecosystem levels. This course includes content and experiences appropriate for students wishing to earn honors credit.  (C-ID BIOL 140)
