VOC/N 604 Workplace Computing

Fundamentals of computer hardware, software, and the internet for computer novices at the work place, introducing basic computer components and functions including hardware, operating systems, software applications, (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, email) and web browsers to access information on the world wide web. The focus of this course is to prepare students to be competitive in securing employment, as well as retaining a job once they have acquired a job.
