RADIOL 216 Mammography

Study of technical and procedural aspects of digital mammography. Examines radiation protection, digital quality assurance, breast anatomy and physiology. Analyzes breast pathology, breast images and positioning techniques. Explores mass localization and biopsy procedures and a brief discussion of Breast MR, breast cancer diagnostic technologies, and breast cancer treatments.
