ENGL 108 World Drama I
Survey of the history of theatre from its earliest origins in 6th century B.C.E. to the Elizabethan and Restoration periods in the 18th century. Focus on important plays, playwrights and the development of theatre practices and techniques in relationship to cultural, political and social conditions of the time. The study of play's structure, plot, character and historical relevance. This course is also offered as THART 108. (C-ID THTR 113)
