CSU GE Breadth
California State University (CSU) General Education Requirements 2021-2022
Students are required to complete a minimum of 39 units in areas A-F for full certification of lower division general education requirements. Upon request to the Admissions and Records Office, Crafton Hills College will certify completion of the following pattern to be applied toward the total general education requirement at any CSU.
This pattern of general education IS NOT applicable to any campus of the University of California (UC). Please refer to the specific UC catalog of your choice, and/or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) for transfer to CSU and UC.
Completed courses MAY NOT be applied in more than one area.

Acceptable scores on Advanced Placement tests as listed on the College Credit for Advanced Placement (AP) Chart, and the College Level Examination Program tests as listed on the College Level Examination (CLEP) Chart may be used for CSU GE certification.

CSU GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS IN U.S. HISTORY, CONSTITUTION AND AMERICAN IDEALS
Not part of the CSU GE certification requirements, but may be completed prior to transfer. Courses used to meet this requirement may also be used to satisfy other requirements for CSU GE.

When a course is approved for CSU GE, it applies for certification starting with the year of approval and ending when it is removed.
Students who have maintained continuous enrollment at a California Community College or CSU or combination of the two that started before Fall 2021 may use the previous pattern:
Complete nine units in at least two disciplines in Area D and no Area F requirement.
**"C-" or better is required for courses passed along from other colleges.
