This course provides the basic principles and history of firefighter life safety initiatives by focusing on the need for cultural and behavior change throughout the emergency services.

Lecture: Minimum 48 hours per semester

Departmental Recommendation: Eligibility for ENGL 101 and MATH 995 as determined through the Crafton Hills College assessment process. Pass a standardized test of reading comprehension at or above the 12th grade level.
