GEOL 195 Geology of the Western Transverse Ranges

Discussion and observation of the physical and historical geology and natural history of the Western Transverse Mountains with emphasis in the coastline near Santa Barbara area. Lecture prior to the field trip and geologic tools will be utilized to observe, explore, and understand the geology of the region of study. Student must attend the field trip or complete an approved alternative assignment to successfully complete the course.
