FIRET 904 Fire Control 5: Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (1988) - FC50027
This course provides students with the methods and techniques necessary for crash fire rescue services at airports. Subjects include using conventional fire and specialized Aircraft Rescue Firefighting apparatus (ARFF), extinguishing agents, types of aircraft, standby procedures, firefighting foam types and capabilities, dual agent systems, and operations at crash scenes. The 40-hour course delivery includes a live burn that meets or exceeds the Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 annual live fire training requirements.
