Communication - Associate of Arts Degree
The Associate Degree in Communication provides students with both the knowledge and skill required in a number of communication contexts. The degree provides a foundation for individuals in the workplace as well as preparation for transfer in degrees including mass communication, journalism, broadcasting, advertising and public relations and business communication.

Lower division requirements for students interested in transferring to a four-year institution in this field may differ from associate degree requirements. Prospective transfer students should complete the general education and lower division requirements of the school to which they will be transferring. See a counselor for details. A student receiving a degree in this field will be able to:
