CNA/N 650 Phlebotomy Technician I Theory

This noncredit course provides theoretical and laboratory preparation for entry-level certification as a phlebotomy technician; includes overview of federal and state regulations governing clinical laboratories; focuses on vascular anatomy and physiology and performance of venipuncture and dermal puncture techniques, describes additional responsibilities of phlebotomy technicians as members of the health care team; requires demonstration of skill competency.
