PSYC 111 Developmental Psychology: Lifespan
Introduction to the study of lifespan development psychology from conception through aging. The focus is on six issues: the nature of change, continuity and discontinuity in development, the influence of genes and social context on growth, the influence of culture, race, and ethnicity on development, the effect of present experience on future outcomes, and current theory and research which contribute to an understanding of human development over the lifespan.
