ETHS 132H Identity and Ideology: Introduction to Chicano/a and Latino/a Studies - Honors

Multidisciplinary examination of the experience of Chicano/as/xs and Latino/as/xs in the United States. Introduction to the history and culture of Chicano/a/x communities, social movements and ideologies behind those movements, and contemporary issues facing Chicanos/as/xs and other Latino/a/x groups. This course includes content and experiences appropriate for students wishing to earn honors credit. This course is offered as SOCI 132H and ETHS 132H.
