SPAN 157 Spanish for Spanish Speakers I
First of two courses intended for students who have grown up speaking Spanish but have not formally studied it in an academic environment. Designed to help students develop spelling, writing, reading, and improved conversational skills. Stresses the formal aspects of the language, the rules of the written accent, grammar, vocabulary, past tense verbs, and the culture of Spanish-speaking regions. This course is conducted in Spanish and focuses on grammatical topics equivalent to those covered in
SPAN 102.
