MUSIC 195 Music Technology and Recording

Practical study of electronic music and electronic recording methods. Topics will include electronic music, analog and digital recording, field and studio recording, audio editing, microphones,
multi-track recording and processing, and open source software. Hardware is not provided-though not required, it is recommended that students have their own hardware (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop).
