CHEM 213 Organic Chemistry II

This is the second semester of a one-year course in organic chemistry with lab intended for majors in the natural sciences (chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics, and pre-medicine). Examines carbon compounds including structure, nomenclature, functional groups, reactivity, synthesis, and reaction mechanisms. Spectroscopy and modern theoretical concepts studied. Laboratory includes preparation, identification, and the study of properties of organic compounds. (C-ID CHEM 160S course two of two)
