GEOL 180 Geology of Joshua Tree National Park

Discussion and field observation of the physical and historical geology and natural history of the Joshua Tree National Park area. Lectures prior to the field trip and geologic tools will be utilized to observe, explore, and understand the geologic history of Joshua Tree National Park. Student must attend the field trip or complete an approved alternative assignment to successfully complete the course.
