Financial Aid, Grants and Work Study
Students who require financial assistance for their college education are advised to use The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for financial aid. Submitting the application on time and contacting the Financial Aid Office for information on deadlines is crucial. The FAFSA is available from October 1st to June 30th and can be submitted online at www.fafsa.gov. To ensure funds are available for the upcoming fall semester, the application must be submitted, along with all required documents, no later than June 30th of that academic year. Crafton Hills Colleges’ school code is 009272. After submitting the FAFSA online, students must check their Financial Aid Self-Service account found in and complete any “action items.” The Financial Aid Self-Service view is available approximately 3 business days after submitting the FAFSA. For the upcoming academic year, the required documents will typically be available before the fall semester in late March. Students must check Financial Aid Self-Service in each year, regardless of whether they are new or returning students. Financial aid award letters become available once a student's file is complete and processed. Students who receive financial aid must meet the standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), be actively enrolled in classes, and have a processed file at the time of disbursement. The Financial Aid Office is available to assist students with questions or concerns online, in-person, or by telephone appointment.
