The Student Health Services department contributes to the well-being and educational aims of the students through health services and education. Students who are at a high level of health and wellness are better able to pursue their academic goals. Students who pay the heath fee at the time of registration may use campus health services. A small fee is charged at the time of service for lab tests, physicals, and some prescription medications dispensed at the Health Center.
Crisis intervention, short-term mental health therapy for stress, support groups, and individual therapy sessions for anxiety, bipolar disorders, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, or any other emotional issues the student may experience. Referrals to higher levels of management are also available.
