Student Accessibility Services (SAS)
The Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Office provides academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, and services to students with disabilities so that they have equal access to all campus educational programs and activities. Students must provide verification of their disability. Any academic adjustment, auxiliary aid, or service that is provided must be directly related to the student’s disability-induced educational limitation. Some services may be provided in classroom (e.g., sign language interpreting) or outside the classroom (e.g., tram service, extended time for exams, distraction-reduced testing room, etc.). Other services may be specialized versions of traditional student services (e.g., counseling, advising, assistive technology, community liaison with outside agencies, etc.).
