Cal Grants

The Cal Grant is a unique financial aid allocation specific to California, which does not need to be repaid. There are three kinds of Cal Grants — A, B and C — but you don’t have to figure out which one to apply for. Your eligibility will be based on your FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application responses, your verified Cal Grant GPA, the type of California colleges you list on your application and whether you’re a recent high school graduate. The Cal Grant, Community College Entitlement Award, is specifically designed for California Community College students. To be considered for this award, applicants must submit a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application by September 2nd and meet the general Cal Grant eligibility requirements on our website or through the California Student Aid Commission at www.csac.ca.gov. Students transferring to a 4-year university must complete their FAFSA or Dream application by March 2nd. GPAs are automatically uploaded for CHC students who have completed at least 16 units at Crafton

You are encouraged to explore all the options and to contact our Financial Aid office if you have any questions or need assistance with the application process.
