Federal Pell Grant Program

The Federal Pell Grant is a federally funded program for undergraduates who demonstrate financial need.  The Pell Grant scheduled award  is based on information provided on the FAFSA form, the presence of a valid Student Aid Index (SAI), and the Cost of Attendance (COA) for a full-time student for a full academic year. Awards for part-time students are adjusted based on a student's enrollment intensity. Eligible students receive payments twice each semester. Students may apply for a Federal Pell Grant any time after October 1st and have a completed file in the Financial Aid Office. Federal Pell Grants are awarded to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree and meet Satisfactory Academic Standards (SAP).
